Computers moved in our own vehicles, on our own operator's licence, since 1996. Payloads run from 900kg up to 7000kg and every vehicle is on air ride suspension.
The fleet goes from Renault Trafic vans up to an 18t DAF, all Euro 6 and ULEZ compliant, all maintained to DVSA rules, and all of them plain so nobody driving past knows what is in the back. It runs on our own Standard International Goods Vehicle Operators Licence, held for 3 HGVs and 12 light goods vehicles with 4 UK Licences for the Community. The low loaders take a 47u rack. Vehicles are tracked to street level anywhere in Europe.

We do both. Vehicles run the whole of the UK and criss-cross Europe on our own operator licence, with our own in-house customs agent doing the entries, so a phased move can put tranche one into storage at Hayes while tranche two is still running live. Between phases the kit sits in racked warehousing at Hayes or at Church Crookham, near Farnborough Airport. Legacy hardware goes out under our upper tier waste carrier registration, CBDU551195, with WEEE certification through an approved authorised treatment facility. Data bearing drives are shredded, either on your site on our HSM Powerline StoreEx HDS 150 or back at ours under tamper evident seal with the seal numbers logged against the asset list, and every serial is scanned on to the certificate of destruction.
Yes. Nothing gets unplugged until it has been labelled, so each machine, screen, dock and lead is tagged to a user and a desk number before the first cable comes out. Kit travels by desk in our plastic tote boxes, 60 x 37 x 33 cm inside, one desk to a box wherever it fits, which is what stops a floor of identical black docks turning into a lucky dip at the other end. At the new site we rebuild each position to your seating plan, power up and check the screens come on. You get a reconciliation sheet with serials against desks, so facilities and IT can both sign it off.
Machines go into anti-static bubble bags and wrap, then into our tote boxes or flight cases depending on what they are and how far they are going. The vehicles are the other half of the answer. They have air ride suspension, and load lok or E-track systems at three different levels with padded rails, shoring poles, straps and blankets, so nothing shifts against anything else on a rough stretch of dual carriageway. Everything is itemised and labelled before it moves, the vehicles are plain with Thatcham approved deadlocks and tracked down to street level, and the crew that packs it is usually the crew that unpacks it. Screens travel in foam lined cases sized to the diagonal.
Send site addresses and an approximate asset list. We will return a secure plan and confirmed date.
