Yes, and most of our work happens then. Change windows are overnight and at weekends, load-ins happen when a venue is dark, and an office would far rather be moved on a Saturday than lose a Tuesday. We run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and both warehouses have a 24 hour call out facility if you need to get at your own equipment out of hours. Tell us the access slot, the lift booking and the loading bay rules and we will build the crew and the vehicle around them. If the building only lets you in from 6pm Friday to 6am Monday, that is the job.
Yes. We write our own risk assessments and method statements, and for a site we have not worked before we would rather do a survey first, or at the very minimum see a walk through video, detailed photos and rack elevations, because a method statement written off a floor plan is worth very little when the goods lift turns out to be 200mm too short. Building management usually want the RAMS, our insurance schedule and the ISO 9001:2015 certificate. Chain of custody starts at the scan, with make, model and serial captured at collection, tamper evident seals applied and their numbers logged against the asset list, and a signed handover at delivery. Sample documents go out on request.
Call us and we will tell you honestly. This started as a same day express courier business in 1996 and we still criss-cross the UK and Europe at a moment's notice on what the trade calls a special, for when an overnight pallet or parcel service is quite simply not good enough. How fast depends on where the nearest vehicle happens to be and what is already on it, so we would rather give you a real time on the phone than publish a number we cannot keep. The office is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
