Kerbside is not delivery. A one or two person team, or more if the job needs it, will take the item to the room you actually want it in, unwrap it, assemble it, position it and take every scrap of packaging away with them for recycling, and you get told what time they are coming rather than a twelve hour window. Our vehicles are plain, with no sign writing, and where a client wants it the crew will wear your branded corporate clothing and the whole service can be white labelled. It works the other way round too, if you need furniture collected rather than delivered.
A hotel group refurbishing bedrooms across several properties is a scheduling problem before it is a lifting problem, and the schedule is usually set by somebody else, so we work to your dates and hold stock in the meantime at Heathrow or Farnborough, where we have 850 racked pallet spaces and another 150 out of gauge floor spaces for the things that will not sit on a pallet. Deliveries can be phased floor by floor or property by property. Where the lift is out or the item will not fit in it, we bring a powered stair climber. Access is the thing that catches people out, so we survey first where we can.
We hold a proper stock of materials rather than buying it on the day: tape and tape guns, boxes and pallets, a banding machine with protective corners, anti-static and normal bubble wrap in several sizes, cardboard corners, foam edging for table tops and stretch wrap. Nothing goes on a vehicle unwrapped. When new furniture goes in, the old furniture usually has to come out, and we will take it away in the same visit, splitting anything electrical off for WEEE disposal under our own waste carrier registration and holding surplus items in storage if you would rather redeploy or donate them. We have a proven track record of delivering the goods.
