Secure Transportation Ltd have been established for over 28 years and are an ISO 9001:2015 accredited specialist IT relocation and installation company with two warehouse facilities strategically placed in the heart of the UK colocation datacentre industry next to London Heathrow and Farnborough Airports.
We cover the whole of the UK and European Union with our own fleet of vehicles, drivers and installation engineers and further afield, Globally via airfreight and a network of approved partners including our own customs agent. We have an extensive range of services for the IT industry all of which are fully customiseable to cater for our clients exact requirements:

- Transportation, Relocation and Installation - deployment, rack "n" stack, and cabling anywhere in the UK and EU with computer spec'd vehciles.
- Recycling and ITAD - EOL management for the retirement and decommisioning of IT equipment including onsite HDD data destruction.
Project Management
Secure Transportation can get involved in as much or little as is required. Every client has different needs. We work for companies who have their own teams of network engineers and therefore all that is required is the transportation and rack "n" stack, whilst others will require a full cable trace and audit including patching schedule. From the initial email enquiry or phone call we can appoint a single point of contact to manage a project from start to finish and schedule Teams calls to update the status and how it is progressing. We have worked in most datacentres in the UK and Europe and know them well, but for other locations a full site survey may be required or at the very minimum a walk through video, detailed photos with rack elevations. We can also produce risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) if required.
Warehousing and Pre-Staging
Secure Transportation have two secure pallet racked warehouse storage facilities with offices, both are strategically placed and which serve our growing International portfolio of clients. One is next to London Heathrow Airport and the other is our brand new 2023 Headquarters just 30 mins away at Farnborough Airport. With nearly 10,000sq ft of space we are able to offer long or short term storage, including warehouse build and prep areas and 42u racks with power and connectivity to pre stage client's IT equipment.
Installations and Relocation
Whether you have a single 1u server or a fully populated 20u router that needs de-racking and installing in one of our 19" shock mount rack flight cases for safe transportation and then re-racking at the other end, to a major network repurposing or retirment of 500 servers, project managed and part pre-staged at our warehouse and then implemented across multiple data centres, we have the necessary specialist handling equipment and expertise for the job. Secure Transportation have over 18 years experience in server relocation and have a proven track record within the industry. We cover the whole of the UK and Europe by road and globally by airfreight.
Specialist Handling Equipment
Whether you need a fully populated 24u router de racked and packed and then transported half way around Europe and then re racked, or a 47u rack taken up a flight of stairs, we have all the neccessary specialist handling equipment to get our clients IT equipment from delivery kerbside, overcoming any obstacles along the way and installed in its new postion. Bespoke Flight Cases for Packing
Secure Transportation has a comprehensive stock of custom made flight cases, ranging from server relocation cases, military grade shock rack ones to our in-house designed specialist split trunks. These can be broken down to reveal just the base and house a chassis up to 24u which can be slid straight from the server lift in to them. The flight case sides and lid are then built back around, to offer a complete secure solution for transportation. All details and specifications can be found here.
Transportation
Secure Transportations' fleet consists of all plain and un-signwritten vans and lorries which are all Euro 6 compliant, and fully maintained in line with the DVSA rules and regulations for our Standard International Goods Vehicle Operators Licence. We have 3 HGV's and 12 light goods vehicles with 4 UK Licences for the Community. We operate all over the UK and Europe from our London Heathrow Airport warehouse.
Our vehicles are all highly spec'd with varying specifications for a multitude of purposes. Internal features like, load lok, or E-track systems at 3 different levels with padded rails for unpacked data racks with straps and shoring poles, ensuring everything is secured whilst in transit. Loading heights of up to 2.55mtr on our low loader tail lifts and HGV's for 47u rack carrying capabilities. With payloads ranging from 900kg all the way up to 7000kg, our fleet gives us the flexibility to cater for our clients exact requirements.
