NEC 84" Touch Screen Display Collection & Delivery The last job of 2017's first quarter saw Secure Transportation collect their clients NEC 84" Touch Screen Display from 5 Star Cases in Wisbeach Cambridgeshire where it was having final measurements taken for a bespoke flight case and then deliver it to the set builder in the New Forest ready for the first event. For this Pro AV movement we once again used our hydraulic lifters. Positioned at either end of the screen and strapped securely this specialist handling equipment can lift up to 1800kg and makes manoeuvring large awkward items an easy task.  All our vehicles are equipped for the transportation of Pro AV equipment. Tail lifts or ramps, load lok, straps and blankets all come as standard to ensure all your kit arrives as it left. Despite all that wonderful European scenery along the way it was this job back in 2014 up at the Manchester Victoria Baths http://www.victoriabaths.org.uk where we were tasked with collecting our clients SSL demo desk that brought back some really fond memories of being taught to swim by my Dad at the similar ones in Hounslow, West London all those years ago. Ongoing Logisitcs for Juniper Networks Loan Equipment10 x Poupulated Rack White Glove Delivery & Positioning At an undisclosed location and after a lengthy booking in procedure (and the obligatory strong coffee!) Secure Transportation once again assisted their Dutch client with the delivery and positioning of 10 fully populated racks in to a datacenter for Microsoft. The 6 man team completed the job within a 4 hour window.

As with most London deliveries there seems to always be limited access so Secure Transportation's preferred delivery method for the "last mile" is our Renault Trafic which fits in most underground car parks coupled with our mobile fork truck capable of lifting 600kg. 12 Chassis De / Re Rack Monday saw the start of another project for one of our regular clients that is going to span across several months. This first stage involved the de / re rack of 12 chassis's from different manufactures from one location to another in the same site up in Manchester. Site survey completed before the project begun and insurance cover for up to £750k under our bespoke engineers policy for whilst we are handling the equipment on site. We have all the equipment to facilitate even the most awkward jobs. Hydraulic lifting equipment, bespoke flight cases, ramps and floor coverings to make the task as easy as possible.
