Honda Civic Video ShootBack in May this year we provided logistical support to one of our clients on a video shoot at Cardington Studios, this former airship hangar is one of the largest indoor spaces in Europe, with no obstructing beams, ideal for large scale set builds and event rehearsals and host to many blockbuster movies! We were on set day and night and with limited info we felt a bit like a "mushroom". It is only today that whilst online I came across the actual Honda advert and realised that we were involved in it's creation in a very small way. Server RelocationHalfway through the week and apart from the usual mix of logistics we have already completed a Luxembourg to Dusseldorf server relocation project and this morning are back out in Amsterdam in The Netherlands on our regular round robin to London Heathrow distributing computer networking equipment. Monday our handling and security procedures were put to the test for a high profile company who required a 3 rack server move from Luxembourg to Dusseldorf. Immediate feedback from our client's US customer was that the move was handled professionally and with military precision.
All equipment was de racked ready for labelling as per the rack elevation plan / build list and was then securely packed in our anti static lined bespoke server flight cases for the short trip to Dusseldorf.

We decided to deliver this using our Mercedes Sprinter van coupled with our Innolift mobile fork truck rather than the Luton Tail Lift. This is an invaluable specialist piece of kit which we haven't been without for the last 15 years. It loads itself in and out of all our panel vans including our small Renault Trafic and can lift up to 600 kg! Perfect for that last mile delivery in suburban areas where getting a tail lift vehicle or larger truck in can be awkward or even impossible. Call us now on 07734 247 365 For some free advice or an informal chat  December 2016 an SOS was put out by one of our clients late Friday night to courier some urgent equipment out to the P&O Oriana which was undergoing a refit in dry dock Hamburg, Germany. Apparently a major overnight carrier had failed to deliver and the Oriana was due on sea trials on the Monday. With no other option we drove the 600 miles from Heathrow to Hamburg, successfully delivering the equipment by Saturday afternoon.  Over 21 years of UK & European transport has taken us to some very interesting places, and sights that not everyone gets to see.  |
