Juniper Networks POC Lab Relocation

2016 IT Relocation Project

Hard to believe this IT relocation project was a year ago today. How time flies.

After several months of planning we finally moved Juniper Networks demo lab from their Addlestone, Surrey office to their newly refurbished office at 38 Threadneedle Street in the heart of London's financial district. The project involved de racking numerous Juniper devices using our specialist Chassis Lift & Slide System - CLASS™ and securely packing in our range of bespoke flight cases ready for transport to London.

The day before the move was spent in the newly refurbished Addlestone office de racking everything, being especially careful not to scratch the walls!

Here a couple of EX9200's racked up in one of our 24u shock mount flight cases.

*All equipment whether being installed or transported is covered under our bespoke marine cargo policy anywhere in Europe. We can quote without referral up to £0.5m.
Bishopsgate and Threadneedle Street London are logistically challenging, one with no legal parking and the other on a red route. Not for the faint hearted and only to be attempted on a weekend. The weather was on our side too as van loads of equipment were lined along the side of the road waiting to be moved in through the front entrance. The showcase lab with customised racks and blue mood up-lighting can be seen through a viewing window by guests from the comfort of the office whilst relaxing having a coffee. My photo doesn't do it justice, it needs to be seen in person! Special thanks to everyone in our team and also Martin Matthews, Trevor Edwards and George White from Juniper for their help in getting everything racked up. It was a very long day but everything went to plan.
