Racks, power, burn-in testing, inventory, and scheduled rollouts from secure facilities.

Export case packing means a bespoke wooden crate built round the item rather than the item forced into a box, and it is what you need when goods are going worldwide by multi mode transport and will be handled by people you will never meet. Crates are made from certified and treated timber, any size, with screwed lids and one screwed side so the contents come out without a crowbar. Inside, polystyrene or foam inserts and anti-static bubble bags. ShockWatch and TiltWatch labels go on the outside.

We have carried event kit into ExCel, The O2, Alexandra Palace, the Tower of London and a good number of fields and castles in between, and we still criss-cross Europe at a moment's notice for the ones that come up late. Vehicles run from Renault Trafics up to an 18 tonne DAF with a 2.5 tonne cantilever tail lift, all with air ride, load lok, shoring poles and blankets. Drivers work rather than watch. Import and export customs, including ATA Carnets, is handled in house.

Pro audio and AV transport since 1996, for sound engineers, production and tour managers and the bands themselves. We have traversed most of the mountain ranges and sailed most of the ferry routes, from a backline delivery to the bottom of a ski slope in Davos for MTV Winterjam to an urgent mixing desk swap out in Belfort for the Eurockéennes festival. Air ride vehicles, load lok and E-track at three levels, aluminium ramps or tail lifts. We sort the carnets in house.

Long term or short term storage for IT equipment at our two warehouses, London Heathrow and Farnborough Airport. 850 racked pallet spaces, and another 150 out of gauge floor spaces for the things that will not sit on a pallet. Everything is held on our warehouse management system. Both sites are alarmed to an NSI Gold alarm receiving centre with police response, on 24 hour monitored CCTV, with a 24 hour call out facility if you need access to your own kit at an odd hour.

We run two warehouses. One is at Hayes next to London Heathrow, at the heart of the UK colocation datacentre industry, and the other is our Farnborough Airport headquarters half an hour away in Hampshire. Between them there are 850 racked pallet spaces, 150 out of gauge floor spaces and four pre-staging racks with power and full fibre, so vendor deliveries can come in, sit on our warehouse management system, be built and tested, and go out to site on our own vehicles.

Our pre-staging facility spans two warehouses. Farnborough Airport has three 42u racks with power and full fibre connectivity, London Heathrow has a 24u, and both sites have three phase power distributed to 16 and 32 amp 240 volt outlets, build areas and prep tables. Hardware is received, racked, powered up, configured and tested before it goes anywhere near your site. There is a hot desk at Farnborough if you want your own engineer sitting with it.

Yes, and it works far better when the same people build the cases and write the paperwork. We list the contents as we pack, serial by serial, so the packing list matches what is physically in the crate rather than what somebody thought was going in. Crates are made to size from certified and treated timber with screwed lids and one screwed side, so they can be opened and closed again at destination, with optional foam or polystyrene inserts and anti-static bubble bags inside. ShockWatch and TiltWatch labels go on the outside. Our own customs agent then produces the entries and the commercial invoice, or the carnet general list where the kit is coming back, and our own vehicles run it out under our international operators licence.
Everything is booked in on our warehouse management system as it arrives, scanned by barcode and by RFID, with the serial and the location recorded so a specific chassis can be found rather than a pallet that probably has it on. Goods go into racked storage, 600 pallet spaces at Church Crookham and 250 at Hayes, with another 150 out of gauge spaces standing on the floor across the two sites. Both warehouses are alarmed to an NSI Gold Alarm Receiving Centre with police response and have monitored CCTV. We have temperature controlled areas too. Every movement in, out or between sites updates the record, and orders can be generated automatically from the system and sent through to you by email.
Pre-staging means the hardware comes to us first, goes on to the stock system, and is built into one of our racks before it goes anywhere near your site. We have three 42u racks at Church Crookham and a 24u at Hayes, all with power and full remote connectivity, so your engineers can configure, image and test the chassis from wherever they are, and anything dead on arrival is dealt with in a warehouse rather than at two in the morning in a data hall with the change window closing. Kit is labelled and kitted per site. Then it goes out on our own vehicles, packed the way it needs to travel. OLT chassis builds and POC lab racks are routine work here.
