Event transport that turns up when the dock slot says, with a driver who will help you build it up and break it down. UK and Europe, carnets included.
Logistical support in some of the most unusual places anywhere in Europe is a fair description of what we have ended up doing, from the Tower of London to Floors Castle at Kelso, Cardington airship hangar and a private villa in Saint Tropez. The vehicles are air ride with either ramps or tail lifts, load lok, shoring poles, straps and blankets. The driver stays with the job. Storage between events sits at our Heathrow and Farnborough Airport warehouses.

Cases first. Screens up to 75 inches travel in foam lined flight cases built around the diagonal, racks go into 19 inch shock mount cases, and our 24u shock mount rack sits on twelve tuned anti-vibration mounts rated at 400kg that are there specifically to block the vibration frequencies you get from trucking. Smaller and more delicate items go into Peli Storm cases. In the vehicle everything is strapped to E-track at three levels with padded rails, shoring poles and blankets, on air ride suspension. Where a client wants proof of handling we fit ShockWatch and TiltWatch indicators to the case, so what happened between the two docks is not a matter of opinion.
Yes, and we were doing carnets long before Brexit made them a weekly occurrence. We prepare the general list from your equipment schedule, with descriptions, serial numbers, weights, values and origin, and our own in-house customs agent handles the entries, the commercial invoice and the GMR that gets us a port pass. Without a port pass we are simply turned away. On the road our drivers present the carnet in and out at each border themselves, which matters, because one missed stamp on the way home turns a temporary export into a duty bill. Plan the timings around European customs offices, which close at 4pm and all weekend.
Yes. We have been moving professional audio and AV since 1996, on dedicated runs rather than shared loads, so nothing gets tipped out at a hub overnight. Vehicles go from a Renault Trafic that will get into a car park with a 2.0m height restriction up to an 18t DAF with a 2.5t cantilever tail lift, which means you are not paying for an artic to shift four flight cases. Everything is air ride, with load lok, shoring poles, straps and blankets, and every vehicle is plain and unmarked. We have taken back-line to the bottom of a ski slope in Davos and swapped out a mixing desk in Belfort, so a tight dock slot is not going to frighten anybody.
Send site addresses and an approximate asset list. We will return a secure plan and confirmed date.
