Datacenter Relocation Project

A short video clip of the end result of 2 days up in the "Northern Powerhouse". Numerous chassis de / re racked by Secure Transportation Ltd on time and within budget, fully insured and most importantly a happy client.

These HP blade servers went in around April 2015 and are now due for relocation as part of a major network change for our Manchester based client along with another 20 or so other chassis's of multiple brands.

This phase is part of an ongoing project and spanned across 2 days. With a few anomalies along the way we de racked the various kit from 3 PODS and relocated them to their new data hall within the same building.

With a regular and growing client base Secure Transportation Ltd often find themselves in that "Déjà vu" scenario when they realise the kit they are de racking is stuff they have already installed a few years back. Explore lots more of our projects via the unique URL

Although some of the kit individually weighed in excess of 150 kg the task was made effortless by using various pieces of our lifting equipment to overcome the obstacles along the way.

Below 3 HP blade servers and a Dell de racked and ready for re racking on day 1 along with some Cisco series 6500 chassis, Juniper MX 240's and a rack of Genband.
